Tasting Notes
Philly, The Nashville and Fries
The Philly ($18) comes on a large french roll and is packed with tender rib-eye, onions and homemade whiz. This is a great cheesesteak - probably top 5 that I've ever had. Highly, highly recommend. My wife got the Nashville ($16.5) - a spicy chicken sandwich with blue cheese, Soko's own "Nashville sauce", lettuce, pickle and smoked aioli, which she liked very much. We split an order of fries, which are the thin, shoestring variety, which I love, and while they could have been crispier, they were still good. In the end, we both ate half our sandwiches, but couldn't put a dent in the second half.
Soko opened yesterday (May 22nd 2026) and ran out of Philly's before closing. Today, a friend went in a few hours after we did and reported that they ran out of food about 15 minutes after he ordered. Now that's opening with a bang, and if the past couple of days are any indication, folks in Leesburg, VA and surrounding communities are going to be enjoying Soko Butcher and Deli for a long time.
